It's been a fun few weeks in my house lately. Our little misses has definatly hit her terrible two's stage lol. I must admit, I never really had this stage with my son until he hit school. But little misses, oh she is going to be a fun one.
Right now she is really testing us with her naps. Something we actually never had a problem with before. She was always a really good sleeper and we never had any issues putting her down. But for the past week, she has just flat out refused to go down!
Since she's denying herself her naps, obviously she is a bit miserable. You can tell she is tired, but she just doesn't want to go down. So, this is what we have been looking at a lot lately with her lol.
I think she was pouting because I had to block her from going into the kitchen. She also has a new habit of cleaning out my cupboards and spilling food all over the place! At first I didn't mind, but she kept doing it over and over again that I finally had to gate her off. She was NOT happy with me.
It almost seems that the more tired she gets, the more of a handful she becomes. Although she may not look like it, she can be a little devil now lol!
The more tired she gets, the more she tries to test us. It's almost been a constant thing with her. She gets tired, she gets devilish lol. She knows what she's not allowed to do and that's what she will do!
This was actually a better moment. Even though she was tired, she was soooo excited to sit and watch Daddy mow the lawn. Daddy had just come off a sprainned lower back and I think she was missing a bit of attention from him. So this was his first day up and about and I guess she was just excited to see him.
But then, when we turned our backs, this is what she does. Yes, that is a lunchable on our blinds in the living room. I gave it to her for lunch, went to do the dishes and about 5 mins later I came back to this. Unfortunatly I wasn't able to catch her on camera doing this (grabbed my phone instead). But you get the idea.
I must say, in all this craziness, she has made us laugh a lot. Between the faces, and the weird things she does when she is tired can equal to a really good laugh!
But unfortunatly it has made it almost impossible for me to get anything done. If i'm not chasing her around to make sure she doesn't get into anything, then most likely i'm cleaning up after her!
This again, was the day she was watching Daddy mow the lawn. Just to clear this up, my daughter has a bit of an obsession with pointing with the wrong finger. I love her little hands and when I saw her doing this I had to snap (even though she's pointing with the wrong finger lol)
My house has been so messy too. As you can tell by my back doors just how messy things can get with the little misses around. Every night after she goes to bed, they get cleaned. But by around lunch the next day, they almost always look like this. I originally started to photoshop all the marks out, but I thought for this post, I would keep it in.
This last picture is my favorite picture from the bunch. After a few minutes of watching Daddy mow the lawn she decided to plop herself down to finish watching him. I was also sitting on the floor behind her and when she took the little peek at me, I totally snapped away.
Hope you enjoy!
